On shadow…

…what is a day without a night?
Well, in my modest opinion – everything gets tiring and flat…
A knitwear without the wholes would not be the real knitwear – imagine work without breaks, life without mistakes and so on…
And why I decided to write about it? Because I noticed that many people around are afraid not to be perfect. They try to present themselves as successful, “eternally happy”, simply “the best”. This strategy can, of course, be effective but only in the short term. In the long run it usually leads to premature burn out. And not only the person gets tired of “keeping the mask” – people around start also to be tired, less and less interested in.
I do not know if it is a very well known fact but public persons trained to show up and keep attention of others – like TV hosts for example – are often asked to make at least one mistake… This make them more human and more acceptable.
So, do not be afraid to show off your shadows from time to time (well, living in constant night could be boring, too
) – this can convince others that you are “the one of us”, the person who makes mistakes and can learn from it, someone who one can trust…
Just my 2¢ – for: what is the light without the shadow…?
Good night!
